NOSA BIOGRAPHY
Nosa Omoregie popularly known as Nosa is a Nigerian Gospel music minister, recording artiste, songwriter, and performer. He was signed with Warner Music Group African partner, Chocolate City.
EARLY LIFE AND BACKGROUND
Nosa was born on the 26th February 1981 in Benin, Edo State. He is from the City of Benin, Edo State. He graduated from the University of Benin with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
MINISTRY
He started his musical career at a very early age when he joined the children’s choir at his local church. He came to the limelight with several soul-lifting songs after starting music as a professional in 2009.
Nosa’s interest over the years was influenced by gospel singers like Fred Hammond and Kim Burrel. He showed great zeal for R & B group Boyz II men and also showed interest in Jazz and rock for its directness.
He is a product of many influential Afro-Highlife singers such as Christy Essien-Igbokwe, Sonny Okosun, King Sunny Ade, and many others.
“Open Doors” which was his first studio album was released on March 14th, 2014 and with singles like “Always Pray For You”, “Why You Love Me”, and “Always On My Mind”.
Nosa started his own Record Label “Salt Music” on February 26th, 2020.
He said he aims to be a link between music genres while not neglecting the gospel aspect of it.
Nosa partnered with Nokia in May 2014 to release a song titled “Love Is Calling”. According to Punch Newspaper, Nosa signed an endorsement deal with Unilever in 2014.
