A fraction of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Ibadan Zonal Command have arrested 25 suspected internet scammers popularly known Yahoo boys.
Also arrested was one Babawale Daniel Olayinka, who allegedly passed himself off as a personal assistant to the Oyo State governor.
The alleged fraudsters were apprehended in Soka area of Ibadan, the state capital.
The anti-graft agency said the arrests followed verified intelligence on the cybercrime activities of the suspects.
Items recovered from the suspects included seven exotic cars, several laptops, mobile phones and incriminating documents.
The agency said the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
