Toronto Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer club based in Toronto. The club competes in Major League Soccer as a member of the Eastern Conference. The team plays its home matches at BMO Field, located at Exhibition Place on Toronto’s shoreline west of Downtown Toronto.

10. Víctor Vázquez – 18 Goals
Víctor Vázquez Solsona is a Spanish professional footballer who played for Toronto FC between 2017–2018. He spent just one season with the club.
Victor Vázquez is Toronto FC’s 10th all-time top scorer with 18 goals in all competitions. The Spaniard has spent most of his career at Club Brugge and later with Mexican soccer side Cruz Azul.
At Toronto FC, he scored 16 MLS goals in 52 matches from 2017 to 2018. Vázquez was part of the club’s 2017 MLS Cup and Supporters Shield success.
He scored the second goal to help the club claim its first-ever MLS Cup trophy, becoming the first team outside the United States to win the Postseason trophy.
He also helped the club win the Canadian Championship back to back in 2017 and 2018. In summary of his Toronto FC career, he was one of the most outstanding players in the middle of the park.
Vázquez also had an interesting link-up play with forwards Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore. He scored important goals that led to the club’s success.
Victor Vázquez scored eight goals and notched an impressive sixteen assists. In his second season, he managed eight goals and nine assists amid injuries that led to his decline in form.
9. Justin Morrow – 18 Goal
Justin Morrow is an American retired professional soccer player who played for Toronto FC between 2014 and 2021.
He played as Full-back throughout his professional career. He began playing for Indiana Invaders before switching to Cleveland Internationals.
The American was traded to Toronto FC ahead of the 2014 MLS season. He began the new journey in the MLS with Toronto FC, finishing the first season on a high note.
Justin Morrow is Toronto FC’s 9th all-time top scorer with 18 goals, tied on the same number of plans as Victor Vázquez.
He played the 2016 MLS Cup Final against Seattle Sounders FC but was unsuccessful as the Seattle-based soccer club claimed their first-ever MLS Cup trophy at the expense of the Canadians.
In 2017, Marrow became a sensation and scored a hat-trick against New York Red Bulls, which earned Toronto FC their first-ever MLS Supporters Shield.
This time in the 2017 MLS Cup final, Justin Morrow was impressive. His excellent performance also helped Toronto FC to their first-ever MLS Cup trophy after losing the previous edition to Seattle Sounders at the BMO Field in Toronto.

8. Ryan Johnson – 18 Goals
Ryan Johnson is a Jamaican footballer who played for Toronto FC from 2011 to 2012. He is a joint-eight Toronto FC top scorer with 18 goals and Justin Morrow and Victor Vázquez.
In 2011, the Jamaican was traded by the San Jose trade via an international roster spot and allocation money to Toronto FC for Nana Attakora, Alan Gordon, and Jacob Peterson.
He began his career with Toronto FC on a good note, scoring a goal against Real Esteli F.C. to help the club reach the CONCACAF Champions League group stage.
He finished the 2012 season by scoring some of the most impressive goals that took the club farther in the CONCACAF Champions League.
But at the end of the 2012 season, he was again traded to Portland Timbers in exchange for Joe Bendik.
Ryan Johnson’s most memorable period was the Canadian Championship win with Toronto FC in 2012 and the George Gross Memorial Trophy.
7. Danny Koevermans – 19 Goals
Danny Koevermans is a former Dutch footballer who played as a striker for Toronto FC between 2011 and 2013. He joined the Canadian soccer team as a designated player.
During the first few weeks with Toronto FC, he won the MLS Player of the week following the two goals he scored against Colorado Rapids on 17 September.
Although he started the second season on and rather bad note, he returned to his best form. He finished the 2012 season, winning the Canadian Championship with the club.
Danny Koevermans was successful in the Dutch Eredivisie during the 2007-08 season with PSV Eindhoven, winning the league and the Johan Cruijff Shield.
6. Chad Barrett – 21 Goals
Chad Randall Barrett is a retired American soccer player who played as a forward for Toronto FC between 2008 and 2010. He is the club’s sixth all-time top scorer with 21 goals in all competitions.
He spent most of his professional soccer career in the MLS with a brief stint in Europe at Norwegian Eliteserien side Vålerenga in 2012.
He left Chicago Fire for Toronto FC during the 2009 MLS SuperDraft and allocation money, traded to Toronto FC in 2008 for Brian McBride.
He helped the club to two consecutive Canadian Championship trophies in 2009 and 2010.
5. Alejandro Pozuelo – 24 Goals
Alejandro Pozuelo Melero is a Spanish footballer who plays for Toronto FC as an attacking midfielder. He joined the club in 2019 following his departure from Belgian First Division side KRC Genk.
He played a vital role in the Midfield for Toronto FC in his first few seasons with the club. He plays more of a creative role in the team.
The Spaniard also played in the 2019 MLS Cup Final defeat to Seattle Sounders FC. He played most games during the 2020 season, notching ten assists and scoring nine goals in all competitions.
Alejandro Pozuelo created an individual record for appearing in the MLS Best XI for two consecutive seasons and was also awarded the Landon Donovan MVP Award for the league’s best player of the year.
Alejandro Pozuelo’s only silverware with Toronto FC was the 2019 Eastern Conference Championship Playoffs. Toronto FC’s fifth all-time top scorer with 24 goals in all competitions.
4. Dwayne De Rosario – 33 Goals
Dwayne De Rosario is a Canadian former professional soccer player who played as a forward or as an attacking midfielder for Toronto FC between 2014 and 2018.
Dwayne De Rosario is Toronto FC’S fourth all-time top scorer in all competitions with 33 goals.
The Canadian who rose to prominence in the 2000s has played for some of the most significant MLS sides, including the San Jose Earthquakes, Houston Dynamo, Toronto FC, New York Red Bulls, and D.C. United.
He was awarded the 2011 MLS Most Valuable Player, also referred to as the Landon Donovan MVP. He’s won four MLS Cup trophies.
De Rosario joined Toronto FC in 2008, scoring his debut goal against FC Dallas. He gradually became a mainstay in the team and was subsequently handed the captain armband.
He was very productive throughout the 2010 MLS season. In total, he won two Canadian Championship with Toronto FC in 2009 and 2010.
To date, Dwayne De Rosario remains one of the greatest scorers in the MLS regular season campaign for Toronto FC. Dwayne De Rosario is one of the greatest all-time best soccer players in Canada.
3. Jonathan Osorio – 48 Goals
Jonathan Osorio is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Toronto FC and is one of the club’s most excellent. He holds the Toronto FC club record for most appearances.
He made his debut for the club against Sporting Kansas City and scored his first goal when he was brought on as a substitute against the Los Angeles Galaxy.
At the end of the 2013 MLS regular season week nine fixtures, he was awarded the MLS Goal of the week.
Osorio had to fight off competition for a place in the first team with the signing of Victor Vázquez. He helped the club win the 2017 MLS Cup and Supporters Shield.
2018 was one of the best years with Toronto FC. He finished the CONCACAF Champions League season as the top scorer. He was named in the competition’s Best XI and was awarded the George Gross Memorial Trophy.
Jonathan Osorio is arguably one of the best players in the club’s history. In total, Osorio won one MLS Cup and Supporters Shield, respectively. He also won three Eastern Conference Championship (Playoffs), three Canadian Championship, and four Trillium Cup.
2. Jozy Altidore – 79 Goals
Jozy Altidore is an American professional soccer player who plays for Toronto FC. He is one of the most responsible American soccer players.
He started in the United States before departing for Europe, where he played for clubs in Spain, England, Netherlands, and Turkey.
Altidore returned to North America, joining Toronto FC for an undisclosed fee from Sundered. He has signed him to a Designated Player contract.
He was impressive throughout the 2015 season and helped the club advance to the MLS Cup and finished as second top scorer behind Sebastian Giovinco.
Jozy Altidore struggled in his second season. But, he was able to lift the Canadian Championship for the first time after narrowly missing out on the silverware the previous season.
In the 2017 MLS season, Altidore benefited from the significant changes at the club, including the signing of Victor Vázquez and the coach’s decision to switch formation.
The American quickly established a working strike partnership with Italian forward Sebastian Giovinco, the club’s finest in the last few seasons.
About nine weeks into the season, Altidore was already named in the MLS Week 9 Team of the Week. He further went on to score in three consecutive league games.
Carrying the team to the 2015 Cup final, Altidore scored the opening goal to help his side win their first-ever MLS Cup trophy.
The following season, he was also impressive in the CONCACAF Champions League, helping the club reach the finals they lost to Chivas Guadalajara.
1. Sebastian Giovinco – 83 Goals
Sebastian Giovinco is an Italian professional footballer who played at Toronto FC between 2015 and 2019. Giovinco is Toronto FC’s top scorer of all time with 83 goals.
The Italian is a creative player on the ball and is one of the best players in the history of Toronto FC in Major League Soccer. He won the MLS Golden Boot and the MVP Award in 2015.
He achieved the domestic treble in 2017, winning the MLS Cup, Supporters Shield, and Canadian Championship. Giovinco was one of the best performers in all three campaigns.
He went on to play for Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, winning two league titles and one AFC Champions League trophy in 2019. Giovinco remains one of the best forwards of Italian football in the 21st century.
